System is designed to be able to tighten each bolt at the same time to create equal clamping force. Therefore 2 nutrunners are positioned on the tooling. Since the distance between bolts differs according to product type, tooling has adjustable distance between nutrunners.

Conclusion

 

By using DC controlled nutrunners in a multispinle system, we could create equal clamping force. Number of quality issues dramaticly decreased including “stripped threads on plastic body” and “cracked concretes”. Tracibility of tightening data is secured via special PC software.
