Solution
Ergonomic rail system made in aluminum alloy was installed over the working area. Pneumatic load balancer is used to balance the weight of the battery. Special tooling was designed and manufactured to be able to grip different types of batteries safely. Typical safety functions are implemented to pneumatics in order to avoid “lifting load when it is not safely gripped” and “releasing the load when it is not safely positioned”.
Conclusion
Solution was increased the ergonomy while picking the batteries from pallets and placing them to trolley. Safety functions helped to disappear the risk of injuries.
